Agriculture and Wine

Before Napa Valley became known as America’s wine capital, there was Campbell County.  During the late-Nineteenth Century, this region produced approximately one-third of the national wine output and its share was 40% of Kentucky’s wine production.  Modern wine-producers have reinvigorated the industry here.  The County’s rolling topography, proximity to water, and good climate make for ideal conditions.  Additionally, Campbell County maintains an abundance of farmland that produces locally-grown food, and as the northern gateway to Kentucky’s bluegrass country, it provides thousands of acres for horses and horse-riding.

Here is a document containing contact info and names of Campbell County Farms and Winerys.
