Cat Spay/Neuter Clinic

$10 cat spay/neuter for N Ky residents - OAR/Friends of the Shelter

Good news for Northern Kentucky cat owners! Friends of the Shelter has teamed with Ohio Alleycat Resource & Spay/Neuter Clinic to provide $10 cat spay/neuter-rabies vaccination packages for northern Kentucky residents through monthly Neuterville Express transports.

Each month, OAR’s  Neuterville Express  will visit Campbell and Boone County locations to pick up residents’ cats, returning them the next morning.  Residents scheduling the transport will be charged $10, which includes surgery and rabies vaccination.  Other optional services are available at the time of surgery, including flea treatment and annual vaccines.  Space is available only while funding lasts.  Appointments are required, and can be scheduled by contacting OAR at (513) 871-0185.

The donation funding this program is intended to assist residents in Boone, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, and Pendleton Counties who have not been previously inclined to alter their pet.  Thus, we respectfully ask that your rescue group’s adoptable cats not be included in the program at this time, leaving resources to address crucial segments of the population.  Client records will be checked for compliance.  In addition, Kenton County residents are encouraged to take advantage of the continuing $10 spay/neuter program offered at Kenton County Animal Shelter.

The first $10 Boone County transport is scheduled for Walton on February 24th.  Campbell County $10 transports will take place in Cold Springs beginning March 3rd.  Visit www.NeutervilleExpress.com for more details.  Appointments required at (513) 871-0185.
