FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
The Campbell County Animal Shelter is holding a “Magazine Drive” on April 21, 2011 in connection with “Earth Day” celebrations. Citizens are urged to bring their old newspapers, catalogs, magazines, office and school paper, and old mail to the Animal Shelter to be placed in the Recycling Bin located in the Parking Lot at 1989 Poplar Ridge Road, Melbourne, KY 41059. Funds raised with this effort are all used toward improving the conditions at the Campbell County Animal Shelter.
The Animal Shelter presently recycles between two to three tons of paper per month. The Goal for 2011 is to increase the amount to 4 TONS per month. “Please help the animals at the Campbell County Animal Shelter while helping to save our planet.”
