Kentucky State Police Civilian Collision Report Form
Campbell County Police Force is an accredited, full service, law enforcement agency. In addition to patrol and general investigation, the department supports a Child Abuse program, the regional Drug Strike Force and area SWAT unit. Campbell County utilizes Enhanced 911 Service to ensure efficient and professional responses to police, fire and EMS emergencies throughout the county. The recently created Campbell County Consolidated Dispatch Center receives all incoming emergency calls. Offices for the Consolidated Dispatch Center are located at 998 Monmouth Street in Newport.
Citizens Police Academy in Northern Kentucky
The Campbell County Police Chiefs Association has combined efforts in conducting their First Annual Consolidated Citizens Police Academy in Northern Kentucky. Participating police agencies include Alexandria Police, Bellevue Police, Campbell County Police, Cold Spring Police, Dayton Police, Ft. Thomas Police, Highland Heights Southgate Police Authority, Northern Kentucky University Police, Silver Grove Police, and Wilder Police. The Citizens Police Academy will be a ten-week course that citizens can attend for learning about police department and the criminal justice system. The meetings will be held at various participating police departments and will cover topics in areas of patrol functions, S.W.A.T., firearms, Crime scene investigations, K-9 patrol, accident reconstruction, and Criminal Investigations.
There will also be guest speakers from the Campbell County Attorney’s Office, Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, Campbell County Coroner’s Office, Campbell County Detention Center, and the Campbell County Consolidated Dispatch Center. Everyone is invited to submit an application to be considered for the Citizens Academy. Applications may be obtained and submitted to your local participating police department or their website.
The course starts on April 20, 2011. It will be held every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM for ten weeks.
